Hi I am designing my own invitations, I want them to bleed, full color on on all sides and pieces, and I dont want to use a standard greeting card format. I also dont want to print them at home b/c I know they wont come out as i would like. I have been searching and searching for a printer but have had no luck. I would also like to have envelopes printed to match. Help!

Invitation printing

When you find a printer ask him what size envelopes he can get and how complex you can make the envelope design. Common sizes in Canada are 6.5x5, 7.5x6, 6.625x4.5, 6.125x4.125, 5.5x3.625, all opening the long measure. Printers don't like to or can't bleed small quantities of envelopes so it is best not to bleed them. When deciding on an invite size keep the width 1'4 to 3'8 smaller and the depth 1/4' smaller than the envelope. You may bleed invites.

Get creative with painting! There can be a lot more to painting than slapping a brush against a blank canvas. Try painting with different household objects or create masterpieces using paint you make yourself.
