XChange International, the source for extended technology worldwide, are pleased to announce the release of the PM2Q6 XTension for QuarkXPress 6.x. One-click instantly, easily and efficiently imports files from versions 4.2 - 7.x of Adobe PageMaker as QuarkXPress 6 documents.

Layers are "tiers" of a page layout document. PM2Q6 now allows users to preserve and import PageMaker layers into a QuarkXPress v6.x document. The PageMaker text runaround feature lets users control the way text runs behind, around, or within items and pictures. The PANTONE® Hexachrome color system is also fully supported ensuring correct color mapping.

Additionally as part of this new version, a PM2Q6 preference has been added to the QuarkXPress 6 preference panel that offers the user the ability to select the language they would like the PM2Q6 menu to display. This preference also allows the user to synchronise the language displayed on PM2Q6 with the language of the operating system.

The XTension also now supports the QuarkXPress v6.x missing font dialogue enabling replacement of fonts that are not active on the system and are used in the document being converted.
