Turbo Photo (www.turbophoto.com) announces a new series of stock photo CDs called 'mini-collections'.
The mini-collections contain only 25 images, but are more affordable and more specialized in content. This is different than traditional stock photo CDs, which typically contain 50-100 images, have more general CD themes, and offered at a higher price point.
Turbo Photo is moving more towards specialization in its product line and released 16 new mini-collection CDs last week. The trend of offering specific, smaller than average collections, but more of it is in response to demand by graphic designers for more specialized content. Some of the specialized CD titles include 'Cute Critters', 'Dozers & Loaders', 'Technical Work', 'Manual Labor', 'Airplanes' and 'Firemen'.
Pricing of the mini-collections are $49.00 per CD, making the average cost per photo $1.96. The CDs may be either physically shipped or downloaded as a 'virtual CD'- saving a customer the cost and delay of shipping.
